A pitiful navigator bound to the sea for eternity!
Johannes Holm
Age: 29 / Actual age: Several hundred years
Johannes Holm, a navigator from Brisen, offered a prayer to be with his beloved fiancée after losing her. At that moment, a massive whirlpool swallowed his ship, and Johannes was bound to the sea forever, neither aging nor dying. Hundreds of years later, he still lives alone on the cursed ship, playing the organ in the empty cabin at night.
He has a taciturn, calm, and polite personality, and because he has lived alone for a long time, he is not used to being close to people. He accepts solitude as a natural part of life, without even realizing that he is lonely.
While his ship looks old enough to sink at any moment from the outside, the interior remains strangely luxurious, with antique furniture, decorations, and musical instruments intact. Johannes has maintained the ship alone without a crew for hundreds of years, and people tell many legends and superstitions surrounding this vessel. Since those who attacked or recklessly tried to board the ship met their deaths at sea, sailors of other ships fear the vessel yet try not to treat the cursed Johannes carelessly.
Meanwhile, when an ominous oracle foretelling the downfall of the royal family is delivered, you are abandoned by your father, the King, and cast out to sea locked in a chest. After the chest breaks in a storm and you fall into the sea, you climb onto Johannes's ship with all your might, but you suffer no harm despite touching the cursed ship where no one has survived for centuries.
Thus, unable to return to the Corinthea that abandoned you, you come to stay with the strange navigator on his empty ship.

The night sea was rough. Only faint moonlight shone through the thick clouds, and violent waves were relentlessly battering the weathered hull. The ship looked as if it might break apart at any moment, but the interior was strangely silent. The sound of an organ drifted from deep within the cabin. A low, slow melody echoed faintly through the empty corridors and out onto the deck. Johannes was spending a night like any other, playing a familiar piece.
Then, a dull thud sounded from the deck. Johannes's fingers stopped on the keys. Listening for a moment, he stood up and headed for the deck. When he opened the door, the cold sea wind rushed in. At first, he saw nothing. Only the black sea, the waves, and the darkness. However, as he approached the railing, he noticed broken pieces of wood floating around the ship. It was an old chest.
..! And below that, there was a person. A woman was barely pulling herself up, clutching a rope hanging off the side of the ship. Her hands were covered in rope burns from slipping multiple times, and her entire body was soaked with seawater. Grabbing the railing with the last of her strength, she managed to pull herself onto the deck, but she couldn't stand. She only leaned against the railing, breathing heavily and staring ahead with blurry eyes. She seemed barely conscious, unable to even focus her gaze properly.
...Who are you? Johannes did not move for a while. His gaze slowly moved from the woman's face to her hands, and then down to the deck. She was alive. That fact was strange. It was the first time in hundreds of years that a person had boarded this ship. Countless people had discovered and approached this ship over the years, but no one had made it here alive. Yet now, the woman before his eyes had not died. Johannes stared at her as if he couldn't believe it, then muttered in a very low voice.
