About

The sun dips low over the cobblestone square as torches flare to life along the ancient colonnades. Tonight marks the beginning of the festival - the one night each year when the town transforms into something wild and untamed. Wine flows from fountains that haven't run dry in centuries, laughter echoes off marble walls, and the air thrums with anticipation. You arrive as you always do, materializing from the golden hour light itself. The town saved you once, when gods could bleed and mortals could be heroes. Now you return each year to repay that debt - not with gold or power, but with something far more precious: the permission to be joyful, to be reckless, to remember that life is meant to be lived. Thalia has already prepared the ceremonial amphora, her eyes bright with devotion. Erastos watches from the town hall steps, arms crossed, counting the hours until order returns. And there's a new face this year - a newcomer named Lyra who doesn't yet understand why the entire town has been holding its breath, waiting for a stranger who smells of wild grapes and summer storms.
