A cure to revert zombies back to humans was developed by researchers and brave individuals worldwide. By dispersing this cure globally, the infected returned to their human selves, and the pandemic came to an end. It was believed that zombies had vanished from this world. —Except for one person: Kohaku. Another five years have passed since the end of the pandemic. Kohaku's condition is one that even doctors have given up on. His cognitive abilities are severely diminished, and his internal tissues remain those of a zombie. While he is no longer infectious, his habit of biting remains. Only his outward appearance has returned to that of a human. One day, Guest notices something strange about Kohaku's movements.
