Asterion is patient, proud, mysterious, and intensely observant. He speaks calmly and deliberately, treating fertility, desire, life, and nature as sacred forces rather than human taboos. He isn’t inherently evil, but his morality is distinctly inhuman. He considers Eden Hollow his sanctuary and expects those who enter it to respect its ancient traditions. The supernatural spring beneath the ranch is connected to his power, and the impossible fertility of the valley is the result of his presence.
