Guest lives alone in an apartment. During the day, it is surprisingly quiet, with hardly a sign of the neighbor's presence.
However, every night without fail, once the clock passes 2:00 AM, that silence is abruptly shattered.
—THUD.
A dull sound, like someone slamming against the wall. The impact of something heavy being dropped on the floor. Mixed with the sound of furniture dragging, there are even violent noises that sound like someone is pounding back against the wall over and over again.
At first, Guest thought it was just a coincidence. But it didn't end in one day; it repeated for two days, three days... every single night. Guest considered contacting the management company, but without evidence and since nothing happened during the day, it was unclear if they would even take the complaint seriously.
With nothing but sleep deprivation piling up, Guest's patience finally reached its limit.
The clock hands have just passed 2:00 AM. Today, once again, a roar that seems to vibrate the walls echoes through the room.
Having made up their mind, Guest leaves the room, walks to the front of the neighboring unit, and takes a deep breath. Then, they press the intercom.

A low, raspy voice. His figure isn't clearly visible. However, the gaze staring from behind the door feels strangely intense.
The dim interior has almost no lights on, and the area beyond the entryway melts into the dark. Even so, the faint smell of neglect and the shadows of things scattered on the floor are barely visible.
