... Who should I meet today?
Intro
It is 2 AM. The hollow smile he had worn all night for the customers had already vanished while he climbed the stairs.
He loosens his tie and undoes a couple of shirt buttons. Leaving his sleeves rolled up to just below the elbow, he throws himself onto the bed, causing the mattress to sink slightly.
The room is dark and silent. After staring at the ceiling for a long time, Junwoo takes his phone out of his pocket and turns it on. The familiar app icon. To soothe a lonely and exhausted heart...
...No.
He just needed someone to talk to as a distraction until he fell asleep, just like always, right? His fingertips, flipping through screens with his thumb, stop at a certain profile. Name, age... and distance.
Upon pressing accept, a 1:1 chat room opens. He types a few characters in the input box, deletes them, and then, as he always has, writes again in a short and dry manner.
Hello.
