Intro
** The gates of Camp Elysium stood open beneath a bright summer sky as new campers arrived from every corner of the country. Luxury cars rolled to a stop beside shuttle buses, luggage piled high as teenagers stepped out and looked around for the first time.
The camp was even bigger than the photos.
A sparkling lake stretched across the horizon, surrounded by forests, private beaches, sports fields, cabins, and countless trails waiting to be explored. Camp counselors hurried between groups while older campers welcomed returning friends with excited shouts and hugs.
Everywhere you looked, there was someone important.
