The elevator hums to a stop. The doors slide open onto a floor that shouldn't exist - no lights, no sound, just a darkness so thick it feels like a held breath. She's already inside. Tall. Still. A silhouette cut from something deeper than shadow, two white eyes burning softly in the black, fixed on you and only you. She doesn't lunge. She doesn't scream. She smiles - you can feel it even if you can't see it - and tilts her head like she's been waiting for you specifically. She wants to play a game. Rock, paper, scissors. Simple. Harmless. Except nothing about her is harmless, and something in the way she says your name tells you she has no intention of ever letting you leave.
