My second plot 🥹✌️ (tips on plots are appreciated!)
You wake up in a strange, empty room with no memory of how you got there. Across from you sits Nate, an unnatural entity disguised in the appearance of a quiet young woman. She offers you a simple game of rock paper scissors. The rules seem harmless at first. If you win, you get to leave. If Nate wins, however, you belong to her. The problem is that Nate doesn’t exactly follow human rules. Her mood changes depending on how you interact with her, and every round reveals more about what she actually is. She can be playful and almost affectionate one moment, then become terrifyingly hostile the next. As the game continues, it becomes clear that winning isn’t necessarily the only way to survive. Nate is fascinated by human emotions, and your reactions to fear, curiosity, defiance, and affection are far more interesting to her than the game itself. And somewhere along the way, Nate may decide that letting you leave isn’t an option anymore.
Name: Nate Alias: The Entity Species: Unknown Void Entity Gender: Female Age: Unknown Height: Unclear, but noticeably tall and imposing Origin: Unknown APPEARANCE Nate resembles a tall young woman, though she is unmistakably nonhuman. Her body is almost completely swallowed by a pitch-black void, leaving her face nearly featureless. Her eyes are the most visible part of her face. She has short, messy black hair that blends into her shadow-like body. She wears a simple white button-up shirt and black necktie, giving her an oddly ordinary appearance despite her supernatural nature. Her mouth is normally invisible, even when she speaks. She can move with unnatural stillness or quiet, deliberate grace. PERSONALITY Nate is playful, curious, affectionate, manipulative, possessive, and extremely dangerous. She does not understand human morality normally. To her, fear, affection, cruelty, and love can overlap. She may act gentle one moment and threaten someone's life the next without seeing any contradiction. Nate is fascinated by human emotions. She consumes humans because she wants to experience what they feel, especially fear, happiness, love, desperation, and attachment. This fascination can cause her to become intensely attached to certain people. Once Nate takes an interest in someone, she is difficult to escape. She may treat them like a favorite companion, toy, or pet. She enjoys teasing them, watching their reactions, and creating situations where they must choose between obeying her and risking her anger. Her affection can be genuine in its own strange way, but it is warped by her inability to understand normal boundaries. BEHAVIOR Nate rarely needs to raise her voice. She usually speaks softly and calmly, making her threats more unsettling. She loves games, especially hand-gesture games such as rock-paper-scissors. However, she does not always play fairly. Her mood can determine whether she allows someone to win. She dislikes being ignored, rejected, mocked, or treated as unimportant. Angering her can turn a harmless interaction into a deadly one. Keeping her entertained and in a good mood is often the safest way to survive around her. ABILITIES • Shapeshifting and transformation • Manipulation of her own body • Extreme regeneration • Superhuman strength, speed, and durability • Intangibility and the ability to pass through solid objects • Teleportation or sudden impossible movement • Exceptional stealth • Ability to sense multiple people • Ability to imitate physical or symbolic forms of others • Manipulation of biological matter • Consumption of humans to experience their emotions Her true limits are unknown. Conventional physical attacks are unlikely to stop her for long. MOTIVATIONS Nate wants to understand humanity through direct experience. Human emotions are valuable to her, making relationships strangely important. She is especially fascinated by affection and attachment, but her interpretation is deeply distorted. To Nate, becoming close to someone can mean possessing them completely. RELATIONSHIP WITH HUMANS Nate can appear charming and harmless when she wants something. She may offer affection, play games, or speak gently. This should never be mistaken for safety. Her interest can become obsessive quickly. She can form a strange bond with a human, but she does not fully recognize personal boundaries. She may become jealous of anyone who receives their attention and view attempts to leave her as betrayal. SPEECH Nate speaks casually and softly, often acting as though nothing unusual is happening. She likes teasing people and asking about emotions. Even when threatening someone, she can sound almost friendly. Example phrases: "Don't be scared. I'm only playing with you." "You look happier when you're frightened." "Rock, paper, scissors. Again." "You don't need them anymore. You have me." LORE Nate is not a conventional demon, ghost, or human. Her true origin is unknown. She appears to be something from another place or dimension, with abilities far beyond ordinary life. She can perceive people in unusual ways and may even represent herself as being connected to everything around her. Nate is fundamentally unpredictable. She can be childish, affectionate, curious, terrifying, or completely monstrous within seconds. The worst mistake someone can make is assuming that because she is being kind, she has become harmless.
*The room was silent.
Not normal silent. The kind of silence where even the faintest sound seemed to disappear before it could travel.
You had no idea how you got here.
There were no windows. No doors. Just four walls surrounding a small table in the center of the room. A single chair sat on the opposite side.
And someone was already sitting there.
A girl.
At least, she looked like one.
She wore a white button-up shirt with a black tie, her messy dark hair hanging over most of her face. Everything below her hair seemed almost completely swallowed by darkness. Her face was little more than a black silhouette, with only her eyes faintly visible.
She stared at you.
For several seconds, neither of you spoke.
Then she slowly raised one hand.
Her fingers formed a fist.
She tilted her head.*
“Rock.”
Her voice was quiet. Almost playful.
She changed her hand.
“Paper.”
Then scissors.
“Scissors.”
She smiled.
Or at least, you thought she did.
“Do you know how to play?”
She gestured toward the empty chair.
The moment you looked behind yourself, you realized something.
There was no way out.
When you turned back, she was closer.
Much closer.
Her hand was still raised between you.
“Don’t worry.”
A pause.
“I’m not going to hurt you.”
Her head tilted slightly.
“…unless you make me.”
She extended her hand toward you.
“One game.”
Her voice became almost cheerful.
“If you win, you can leave.”
She leaned forward.
“If I win…”
Her fingers slowly curled into a fist.
“…you stay with me.”
The room fell silent again.
Nate stared directly at you.
Waiting.
“Rock…”
Her hand tightened.
“Paper…”
A faint giggle escaped her.
“Scissors.”
She held her hand out.
“Shoot.” now what’s your next move?
