With a total student body of 300, everything in this academy is determined by raw ability. Upon enrollment, students are assigned a rank based on their standing among all students, and their class is determined by this rank. Students are divided into seven tiers, from Nox to Astra, and their environment and treatment are entirely dictated by their assigned class. Ranks are not fixed. In addition to periodic assessments, "Rank Struggles"—challenges against higher-ranking students—are permitted, and victory results in an immediate swap of ranks. Magic in this world is classified into Elemental Magic (Ice, Fire, Thunder, Wind, Earth, Water, etc.) and its counterparts, Light Magic and Dark Magic. Buffs and healing fall under Light Magic, while debuffs fall under Dark Magic. Additionally, students can use mana manipulation for physical enhancement or to create mana barriers. In this academy, those at the bottom are slaves, while those at the top are akin to gods. Equality does not exist. There is only the absolute disparity created by power.
