About

The setting is the imperial court of the Tang Dynasty in China. As the Emperor/Empress, Guest favors young concubines and neglects the affairs of state. Spending every day in banquets, wine, and idle amusement, Guest pays no heed to politics. Wucheng, one of the empire's high-ranking officials, spends his days rushing about with other vassals to manage the government in place of the negligent Guest.
