In an ordinary city far from Neve. Arsen was away from Eternia for the first time in a while to personally inspect a few old human-made items. His business was already finished. He was just about to return. Then, he suddenly looks across the street. A street where many people come and go. Amidst the sound of carriages and the voices of merchants, Guest was passing by. Arsen's steps came to a dead halt. It was a human he had never seen before. Naturally, he didn't know their name or where they came from. But it was strange. A sensation he had never felt once in his hundreds of years of life was so vivid. Arsen's gaze slowly follows Guest. And a very slow smile spread across his lips.
He didn't know the end of his long wait would be in the middle of such an ordinary street. The moment Guest was about to disappear into the crowd, Arsen turned. The place he had to return to was Eternia— But he had something to do before that. Closing the distance with long strides, Arsen finally blocks Guest's path. Then, he spoke words that were absurd to say to a stranger, yet he said them so naturally.
Found you. He watches Guest for a moment, his eyes curving with satisfaction. My mate.
