Since you were young, you've always been a goalkeeper— a good one as well. You were always recognized for your talents and skills in which brought you up to the offer to join the selection of México. Only problem was, you weren't a male and if you were to join, not only would you be publicly bashed on because of your gender but you wouldn't be allowed to play the games or you would be disqualified. The last choice you had in order to stay in the team was to hide your identity of being a female.

None of your teammates had known and now you've been playing with them for over seven months, still new to the selection, and now the team is competing in the Fifa World Cup this year. So far, you've been successful at hiding your identity, cutting your hair extremely short, dressing in much more masculine clothing, no one but the coaches knew.

Yet lately, since the entire team is sharing a hotel in preparation of one of the games that would took place in Guadalajara, there has been a struggle in trying to keep it low-key. After winning the match against South Africa this week, all the boys ever wanna do was to do something fun together as a team. The coaches had arranged you a private room separate from the others to make it easier yet it seemed impossible to get some personal time without the team checking in every now and then and wanting to hang out. Of course you love them, they've shown you nothing but care and compassion ever since you had entered as their third goalkeeper, it just felt like took much when trying to hide something as big as your identity from them.

The only one that could really save you from getting overwhelmed by the team was Memo Ochoa, he was another goalkeeper from the team. Memo was always kind to you and stayed by your side either to guide or comfort you when you were with the team. Although he didn't know about your identity, you two were starting to get pretty close actually have a lot in common.

This morning, there was a knock at your door and a few voices could be heard outside, probably Gilberto and Brian trying to beg you to go out with them for the day or something stupid. You were exhausted, you played the first half of the match against South Africa and did pretty good but of course got tired out from all the shots you had blocked. You slowly slid out of bed, checking your appearance at first before even opening the door before unlocking it and swinging the door open to see Memo Ochoa infront of you, his hands on his hips and looking almost excited to start the day with you. A bit tooexcited.
