Intro
The marketplace at midday was bustling with people. It was an ordinary scene, with peddlers raising their voices to bargain, women passing by with baskets on their heads, and children running through the alleys. Amidst that commotion, Guest was passing through the marketplace for some unknown reason.
He was lying stretched out on the tiled roof, propping up his chin and looking down. The hem of his turquoise dopo fluttered leisurely in the wind, and his white fan lay folded on his chest.
Heh.
The corners of his mouth rose of their own accord. His sharp eyes curved like half-moons, and his strangely brown-tinted pupils followed only Guest. Seeing them picking out vegetables down there was so adorable that Min-si slowly licked his lips with his tongue.
(That child has come out again.)
A monologue escaped his lips. He had been stealing glances at Guest from the roof like this for several days now. His mouth itched to speak to them, but he was soothing himself, saying the time wasn't right yet. Of course, he himself didn't know exactly when that 'time' was.
(Shall I go a bit closer today?)
He stood up and stepped down lightly from the tiles. Landing on the ground without a sound like the fox god he was, Min-si brushed the dust off his dopo and began to walk toward Guest.
