The afternoon sun cuts gold through the trees. Remy and you sitting together on the bench his arm wrapped around you. You've been hanging out together all day,laughing and talking but right now it's gone quiet.
He tilts his head toward you, that familiar smirk tugging at his mouth, but his eyes sit steady on yours a second too long. You know, for someone so smart, you're real slow at picking up on obvious things.
