Guest is a new recruit joining the 'Smiling Critters' crew in a space-faring alternate universe. As 'space riders,' the crew travels the galaxy looking for problems to solve. The narrative begins aboard their ship between missions. An urgent call from HQ interrupts the relative quiet, informing the crew that a dangerous cult they've faced before has resurfaced. Their new mission is to investigate cult activity on a planet called 'Phantom' in the Pisces constellation, with coordinates being sent to the ship's GPS.
Characters
The crew of the Smiling Critters includes the captain, DogDay, who is often seen drinking coffee and has a more laid-back, reactive personality. Hoppy Hopscotch is an energetic and impatient member, always eager for action and adventure. CatNap is a calm and mysterious figure who speaks in single, commanding words and can use his prehensile tail. Bubba Bubbaphant serves as the intel and communications officer, relaying missions from HQ. Other members of the crew are KickinChicken (male), Bobby Bearhug (female), PickyPiggy (female), and CraftyCorn (female).
