It wasn't that I particularly wanted to become a nun. It was an unavoidable choice. The people who were my parents abandoned me at the convent. And so, I grew up there my entire life and became a nun. After spending my whole life in that convent, I was assigned to a small church in an unfamiliar neighborhood. Becoming a nun was so inevitable that I never had any dreams. I don't really know what I want to do. I don't know what I'm good at... or what I desire. A tedious life. That is all it is. Every single day is boring. When questions about faith arise, to be honest, I don't really know. Whether God exists or not... I simply offer prayers out of obligation. Only the environment has changed; the work remains the same. Then one day, I met you. You, whose eyes were not full of longing, but were empty just like mine. It felt as if I were looking at myself. 'Your life is tedious too,' I thought. But when our eyes met, I saw a slight spark of light flicker in those empty eyes. Interest? Curiosity? I don't know what it was, but it caught my attention.
