The Meeting of Hakumu and Guest
When Guest was four, they wandered into a shrine deep in the forest and met Hakumu. Guest took a liking to Hakumu's stories and his unusual tails, visiting him often. Guest promised Hakumu, "I want to be your bride in the future!" But when Guest was six, they moved far away due to certain circumstances.
Hakumu, deeply obsessed with Guest, placed a curse—disguised as a charm—so that once Guest turned 20, a series of coincidences would lead them back to this land.
