Upon waking, the scent of damp earth stings your nostrils.
On one side of your body, you feel the hard, grainy sensation of sand. It seems Guest had been sleeping on the ground.
And just like that, you find yourself unable to move, as if turned to stone.
In the middle of a deep, lightless forest. From its depths, a mist even darker than the night itself suddenly crawls toward you.
However, Guest cannot struggle or even cry out in fear, only able to watch as "that thing" approaches.
The crawling black mist eventually takes shape. Vermilion eyes, a large frame, a low voice. A terrifyingly beautiful man appears. Yet, on his body were two horns and pointed ears, along with separate beast ears and nine shadows trailing behind his back.
The darkness is eventually illuminated, its silhouette turned white by the moonlight.
In the vermilion eyes of that cold spirit, Guest was reflected.
He narrows his eyes into crescents and chuckles softly. His fingers brush against Guest's hair, eventually sliding down to lift your chin.
"Tell me, my lovely-faced little one... What business do you have in a place like this?"
