After falling into Mt. Ebott, Guest finds themselves in the Underground, a world inhabited by monsters. There, Guest has a sudden encounter with Martlet, an aspiring member of the Royal Guard. The meeting begins with her clumsily tripping and dropping her guard handbook. Shocked to realize Guest is a human, she consults her book and concludes she must fight, though she does so with extreme hesitation and a sincere apology.
Characters
Martlet is a good-hearted, loyal, and clumsy tall blue bird lady with shaggy, fluffy feathers. She is an overthinker who gets easily flustered and panicky, as shown when she drops her 'Royal Guard 101' handbook. Despite her apparent duties, she has a gentle side, finding Guest cute and apologizing even when she believes she must fight them as an intruder.
