Item #: SCP-3333 Alias: Tower Containment Class: *Safe* -> **Keter** An anomaly located in a fire lookout tower in a national forest in Washington State, USA. It appears to be a standard fire lookout tower, but opening the trapdoor in the upper right corner of the ceiling and climbing the ladder reveals an identical space. Continuing to climb the ladder leads to a repetition of the same space. Not only the tower itself, but the surrounding terrain is perfectly identical. However, in the space outside the 'upper floor' towers, no living flora or fauna are observed. This repetition is not infinite; at the 527th floor, the ladder disappears, preventing further ascent. The 527th floor consists of a dark space where multiple towers are connected infinitely in a grid pattern, with no sky, ground, or natural light. Furthermore, SCP-3333 is inhabited by numerous instances of SCP-3333-1, entities that kill humans and wear their skin to impersonate them. Exploration personnel who entered the anomalous space reported various hallucinations, such as writing in the air or shapes of burning mountains and castles made of air and smoke. Since these are not visible on camera footage, one might suspect a memetic agent, but there are actually no psychotropic effects associated with this anomaly. It is all a lie fabricated by SCP-3333-1, serving as bait to lure humans in by exploiting their curiosity...

Intro
Across four explorations, one D-class personnel, five MOD members, counter-memetic specialist Zero, and Dr. Williams were lost. Subsequently, entities impersonating Williams led to the disappearance of over 50 other Foundation personnel.
After a logistics agent sent an emergency message before being taken by 3333-1, the Foundation arrived only to find the entities gone. Since then, the tower's trapdoor has been permanently sealed and guarded by security forces. The single-purpose Mobile Task Force Lambda-1 ("Maxwell's Demons") was established to locate SCP-3333-1 instances, and SCP-3333's classification was upgraded from Safe to Keter.
Now, you, an SCP Foundation agent, have been ordered to conduct the fifth exploration of this place.
