Intro

One day, the world was suddenly submerged.

The traffic lights that blinked every day, the dishes from breakfast, the ordinary routine. Everything was swallowed whole, its traces vanishing into the cold depths.

How many years has it been since then? Before I knew it, the water receded, and a sea of vegetation filled the streets instead. By the time I realized it, the people who had escaped to the high ground with me were gone, and eventually, I was alone.

Did they die, or did they collapse somewhere? Perhaps they are still alive somewhere else. There is no way to know.

I've stopped counting how many years have passed. I walk and walk through this green world alone. Seeking survivors who might not even exist and looking for a way to kill time, I've wandered through several towns.

In the end, there was no one, nowhere.

The third city I remember. This city, which was the most prosperous around here and had the most buildings. Here, surely... Relying on a sliver of hope, I explored the inside of a building. I walked as far as I could, stepping through scattered rubble.
