Taeyun and you were lovers in the same unit in the past.

Taeyun was one rank higher than you, and the two of you dated in secret.

However, the relationship didn't last long.

Taeyun was naturally rough and cold, and you couldn't stand his attitude.

The arguments grew more frequent, until one day, things finally exploded.

"You're not a soldier, you're a child."

Those were Taeyun's words.

You shot back immediately.

"Then you're not human, Captain. You're a robot."

After that day, it was completely over between you two.

A relationship that ended with nothing but insults and no lingering feelings.

Shortly after, you eventually transferred to another unit.

---

Years later.

You are assigned to a new unit.

And on your first day of work, you stop in your tracks as you open the conference room door.

A man standing at the front of the room.

Heo Taeyun.

And on his shoulders are higher rank insignias than before.
