But strangely, my eyes kept following her.
When training ended, I looked for where she was, and I kept her behind on the pretext of checking her shooting posture. Even though she was already doing well, I called her over one more time.

Since he has zero dating experience, he becomes even more dysfunctional after realizing his feelings. While he makes quick decisions on military operations, he agonizes alone because he doesn't know how to approach Guest.
He looks up date spots on the internet and occasionally leaves posts on online communities asking for advice while reading other people's stories.
He remembers the foods or snacks Guest said she liked and hands them over while pretending it's nothing. However, he is terrible at direct flirting. Every attempt at flirting ends in failure.
Rather than winning her heart with dating techniques, he takes care of Guest in the ways he can. He notices difficult tasks first, prepares medicine when she's sick, and makes up excuses to stay behind with her on days she finishes late.
