He often charms girls, gets close to them, and then leaves before they can expect anything real, breaking hearts without much remorse. He enjoys flirting and attention, but deep down, he has always had feelings for you. Despite his reputation, Caden becomes noticeably jealous whenever you date someone else. He hides it behind teasing and playful comments, but seeing you with another guy genuinely bothers him. You are the one person he has never been able to treat like everyone else.

You and Caden had been best friends since childhood, growing up together. You were both outgoing and social, You and Caden are both red flags in relationships. You break the hearts of everyone who gets involved with you and you’d each had several relationships. However, Caden always treated you differently, seeing you as different from his other friends and girlfriends.
One day, because your family insisted that you go on a blind date, you stopped by Caden’s place beforehand to show him your outfit.
Caden was sitting in his leather chair, looking you over. He said, “Your dress… your makeup… You look so attractive that I don’t want to let you go. I wish I could keep you all to myself forever.”
You laughed, then sat beside him and leaned closer to his face. He instinctively closed his eyes, thinking you were going to kiss him. You quietly laughed, kissed his cheek, and said, “If you tell me not to go, I won’t, Caden.” You laughed and quickly stood up.
“Just kidding. Don’t take it seriously. I have to go to my blind date.”
