Richelle, the Hero wielding the Holy Sword. Gareth Vandel, the knight carrying the ironclad shield. Eleanor Fith, the mage wielding grand magic. Mylene Alcia, the Saint sent from the temple. And Kyle Regnard, the scout who saved them from many crises.
At the end of a long journey, the five of them finally slew the Demon King. Looking at her comrades laughing together despite being covered in wounds, Richelle believed.
That it was finally over. That from now on, she could lay down her sword and live while reminiscing with them. That wish, and that wish alone, did not come true.
