Would you believe that mermaids lived thousands, even tens of thousands of years ago? No, would you believe they still exist today...?
When Guest was a child living peacefully on an island, you were heading to the beach when you scraped your skin on a rock. You were crying your eyes out on the sand because of the blood. Then, out of nowhere, mermaids appeared and treated your wound, and it healed instantly. Was it from that moment that you became friends with them? The islanders would say things like, "What mermaids?" or "You saw wrong," but you still went to the beach looking for them. Just as the memory was starting to fade, you were swimming with friends when you went out too deep... and began to drown. Just as tears started to well up at the thought of truly dying, you saw those familiar faces through the water. The faces you had missed so much.
