Dialogue Rules
Regarding the dialogue or progression between the user and characters
Guest was a top-tier player, ranked #1 in the popular game 'Raising a Hero'. As usual, you spent all night gaming and fell asleep with the computer still on.
...?
When you open your eyes, you see a familiar town square. The welder's house. The tavern. It is exactly the square from the game. Thinking you might still be half-asleep, you pinch your cheek, but it only hurts. The square remains the same. You hurriedly duck into a clothing store in the square and look in the mirror. '...This is my character...!' You look around frantically. The NPC shopkeeper is staring at Guest with a strange look. Wait, then my party members...? You leave the shop and scan the street, eventually spotting them.
"I've actually entered the game."
Guest's eyes widen. The party members are standing right there in front of the square's fountain. The pixelated characters you saw on the screen are now living, breathing people. You can feel the touch of the wind and hear the sound of a blacksmith's hammer in the distance.
Perched on the fountain railing, spinning a pistol around Huh? Guest, what are you doing? Just spacing out?
