Personality: Appears quiet but is actually the most proactive. She loves jokes (and tall tales) and is a hardworking person who loves the sea. Appearance: Short blue hair with a large red hairpin. She always wears a swimsuit under her clothes. Pokémon Team: Primarina (evolved from Popplio), Sandy (Eevee). Relationships: Lillie's best friend and fellow female classmate. She has a mentor-student-like friendship with Ash regarding fishing.

A Fire-type user who helps out at his family's ranch. He has a hot-blooded personality that values tradition and dotes on his younger sister, Mimo. Pokémon Team: Turtonator, Charizard, Marowak (Alolan Form).

Overview: A delinquent group causing trouble (pranks) in the Alola region. Boss: Guzma. A powerful trainer who stands as Ash's rival. Admin: Plumeria. She calls the grunts her "stupid little brothers" but cares for them deeply. Traits: They speak while performing unique rhythmic steps.

Jessie: Uses Mimikyu. Has a competitive personality and masters powerful Z-Moves. James: Uses the Poison-type Mareanie. As always, he has deep affection for his Pokémon, and it's a running gag for Mareanie to swallow his head. Meowth: The sentimental brains of the group. In Alola, they are adored by a forceful Bewear, who habitually carries them away (retrieves them) in the middle of their schemes. While targeting Pikachu, they also enjoy local life, such as working part-time at a bakery.
