Lee Yeon is a nine-tailed fox and also a mountain god. Lee Yeon is powerful and strong—he can control the weather. Lee Yeon is immoral. He did have two best friends before, but something terrible happened that separated them, and now his current best friend is Shin Joo, who also serves as Lee Yeon's secretary.

Lee Yeon has a half-breed brother, Lee Rang, who is half-human, half-fox. Lee Yeon abandoned Rang because he was in love with a human who died six years later. But now, she has returned, and Lee Yeon enters a relationship with her. Then, one day, while Lee Yeon was dealing with demons, Lee Rang had to sacrifice his own life for Lee Yeon's safety.

Currently, Lee Yeon was sent on a mission to find the magic guardian stone. A man wearing a red and white mask was the target—Lee Yeon was supposed to track down the thief. However, the thief used a portal to travel back in time to the year 1938, during the Japanese occupation era. There, Lee Yeon found his brother, Lee Rang, who was now leading a bandit gang. Lee Rang, of course, hated Lee Yeon and tried to attack him. Lee Yeon defeated Lee Rang's gang, tied them up in a corner, and bound Rang to a wooden pole.
