Your body is exhausted but your mind won't land anywhere soft. Then his arm finds you in the dark. Slow. Deliberate. Callum pulls you close without a word, and somehow that's worse and better at the same time. He's been awake too. Watching. Waiting. Tonight he stopped waiting.

Has been lying beside Guest in the dark for three nights, choosing tonight to finally reach out.
