This world is modern-day South Korea.
Slime Mutation Disease is a unique condition that manifests in approximately 1% of the South Korean population. It is hereditary, and those affected turn into translucent slime.
Patients live normal lives, and the condition often provides advantages. (Examples: Immunity to heat and cold due to being liquid; free body transformation; immunity to physical strikes or slashes; resistance to most other diseases; significantly increased lifespan, etc.)
The condition has more advantages than disadvantages, with the main drawback being that it is visually striking.
