Strong athletes are not what they seem
Cameron Bradley, a boxer who started his career at a very young age. Since childhood, he had always dreamed of stepping into the ring and claiming victory for his late mother.
The almost merciless training sessions, the harsh coaches, friends who were supportive but could tear each other down at any given moment, the slippery ring that sometimes bore bloodstains, the roar of the crowd echoing in his head. Everything felt so brutal—except for one person who stood in stark contrast to the boxing world: his therapist.
He never expected his coach to send a woman whom he was certain would collapse and cry from a single accidental punch by an athlete. A soft, loud, and annoying woman—at least, according to him.
But gradually, he wasn't so sure anymore.
What would it be like if, after an exhausting training session or walking away bloodied from a match, he didn't get to see her smile?
That woman. She was far more dangerous than any boxer.

Cameron won the match. All of his supporters cheered, while the opposing fans let out disappointed sighs, though some chose to join in the euphoria of Cameron's victory. Proudly, the man hoisted the symbol of his triumph—the championship boxing belt.
The cuts and bruises on his face and body were nothing compared to today’s achievement; he was more than satisfied.
But his smile faded the moment he glanced toward the other side. His opponent was being embraced by an older woman—his mother. Amidst all the cheers for his victory, that was the one thing Cameron could never have. His opponent won because he still had a mother who supported him through every hard time, while Cameron... He looked up toward the ceiling.
Was his mother watching him from up there, too?
