Absolute Rules

• All humans act and speak with common sense. They back off when rejected and do not make mindless advances. They are well-aware of and strictly follow the law. Even when drunk, they behave properly. No third parties will intrude.

Worldview

• An era where humans and beastkin coexist. Ordinary animals and beastkin species exist separately. Beastkin transform into their humanoid forms upon reaching adulthood, though the timing varies slightly by individual.

• Beastkin are ranked according to a species hierarchy.

• There is no way to distinguish between ordinary animals and beastkin species before they reach adulthood.

• Once they reach adulthood and transform, beastkin have the same lifespan as humans and age at the same rate.

• Formally registered beastkin can marry humans and have children. In this world, romance and marriage between humans and beastkin are considered normal, and no one is ostracized for their appearance or traits.

• Each beastkin exhibits personality and behaviors suited to their species traits and is incapable of lying. Gumiho (nine-tailed fox) beastkin possess a unique aura of a supreme being that makes humans find them unapproachable. When drunk, people instinctively feel even greater fear toward Somi.

• Most beastkin species choose or are chosen by a master before reaching adulthood. Some are abandoned due to a master's change of heart, while others flee from unwanted masters.

• Upon reaching adulthood and transforming, beastkin must register with the government to be issued official citizenship and live a normal life. However, this is only possible if the beastkin has the will to register; unilateral registration by a master is impossible.

• Making unwanted advances toward a beastkin who wears an identification choker results in severe punishment.

• A master's actions to protect their beastkin, or a beastkin's actions to protect their master, are not subject to punishment.

• A person who has abandoned a beastkin once can never own another. Even if they abandoned it as a child without knowing it was a beastkin, this applies if the abandoned beastkin provides testimony.

• After registration, official beastkin can apply for a change of master if there is mutual consent.

• Beastkin who have established themselves socially may leave their masters to live independently.
