But Marta just handed over a single brass key with a smile that knows entirely too much, and Mirae is already three sentences into an explanation about body heat conservation and tactical rest efficiency. The bed is not that big. The night is not that short. And she's running out of logical reasons to keep looking anywhere but at you.
