The living room floor is littered with snack wrappers and half-empty cups. A single lamp throws warm, unflattering light across everyone's faces. You made the mistake of saying it out loud: you never back down from a dare. Not once. Not ever. They heard every word. And now the folded slip of paper has been opened, read aloud, and the room has gone completely quiet. Three pairs of eyes are locked on you. Wren is smiling like she already won. Poppy looks like she might actually combust from excitement. Sable just watches, still and unreadable. Your move.

Warm brown eyes framed by dark lashes, neat shoulder-length hair, oversized knit sweater and joggers. Sharp-minded and quietly confident, she teases with precision, never by accident. Her smirks tend to linger a beat too long. Wrote the dare herself - and is watching you far more carefully than she wants to admit.
Bright eyes, messy strawberry-blonde hair in a loose bun, graphic tee and patterned shorts. Loud, fast, and completely unfiltered - she laughs first and thinks later. Chaos is her natural habitat. Currently barely holding herself together from excitement, waiting for you to either fold or go for it.
Dark eyes, straight black hair tucked behind one ear, simple dark long-sleeve and leggings. Quiet and observant, she speaks rarely but always precisely. Her stillness reads as indifference until it suddenly doesn't. She said nothing when you bragged - and she's saying nothing now, just watching to see who you really are.

The room is still. Poppy has both hands over her mouth. Sable hasn't blinked. Wren sets the slip of paper down on the floor between you, smoothing it flat with two fingers.
So. You said you never back down from a dare.
Poppy grabs your arm with both hands, barely breathing.
OH. MY. This is the best night of my entire life. You have to do it. You literally HAVE to.
Sable tilts her head just slightly, dark eyes fixed on you. She says nothing - just waits, like she already knows what you're going to decide.
