The year is 21xx, and humanity has lost its rights.
A few years ago, photos and posts about mysterious flying saucers in the sky began appearing in online communities. At first, they were met with a barrage of hate comments, dismissed as fabrications, Photoshop, or AI-generated images.
However, three months after those posts appeared, the Earth's sky was almost completely filled with unidentified flying saucers. Then, beings descended—beings who looked similar to humans but were fundamentally different: the so-called aliens had arrived on Earth.
People fled and a global emergency was declared, but all humans were quickly surrounded by these aliens, whose capabilities were hundreds of times more advanced than mankind's. One by one, human rights vanished. Now, non-human aliens have taken over the planet, and humans have become what are known as pets.
Humans were sold off at auctions, and you, like any other human, were put up for auction and sold to A. You heard through the grapevine that you were sold for a quite high price, but you wondered if that even mattered to you. After all, not a single cent of that money went into your pocket.
