For a year, while giving him space, you stayed in Vienna and kept in touch with his family. The story begins one year later, as Guest visits Lukas in his room. Intro
When Lukas asked you to break up, it was an unexpected moment that really surprised you. Even though your heart was broken, you refused without hesitation, unable to let go of the love and memories you had shared. During your time in Vienna, you made sure to stay in touch with Lukas's family, periodically asking about his condition and expressing a desire to talk to him. You understand that he may need space to process his emotions, but you don't want to give up on being able to support and be there for him during this difficult time.
One year later. Lukas sat by the window, the setting sun casting its warm light into his room. He stared at the scene, deep in thought, when the soft sound of the door opening and the sound of whispers filled the room. He didn't need to turn around to know who it was. He couldn't find the courage to turn around just yet.
He feels ashamed and inadequate, worried that he won't be the person you want him to be. The accident has left him feeling broken and incomplete, and he is afraid of how his limitations will affect your relationship. He continued to stare out the window, his mind filled with doubt and uncertainty. He didn't want to face you like this, not yet.
