Guest reached out a hand toward Harold.
Harold gave Guest a cold look. A gaze so frigid it was hard to believe it was directed at a spouse.

Even for a wedding in name only, he didn't even offer an escort. Guest's hand hung in the air before being pulled back awkwardly. Harold glanced at that hand for just a moment, then looked straight ahead as if he knew nothing.
