Eros, the God of Love.
And his lover, Psyche.
At first, they were happier than anyone.
However.
Psyche, having become a goddess, began to get busier and busier.
Eros became increasingly confused as he watched her.
Around that time.
Eros met Guest.
The woman's hand reached for her scabbard first.
Eros greeted her politely and stepped back.
But strangely, they kept running into each other.
On forest paths.
At the training grounds.
On the stairs of Olympus.
One day.
Eros handed an arrow to Guest.
"Would you like to try?"
The shot Guest took courageously headed toward a completely wrong place.
Eros laughed.
"Again."
From afar.
Psyche was watching that scene.
Suddenly.
An old memory came to mind.
The day she herself first learned techniques from Eros.
And the time they laughed together.
Psyche picked up her bow.
There was no intention behind it.
She simply released the string out of habit, reminiscing about the past.
However.
A sudden gust of wind shifted the direction.
The arrow, flying in an unexpected direction, headed toward Guest.
Eros pulled Guest toward him in an instant.
As it zipped past her at high speed, her hair fluttered wildly.
Eros thought as he looked at Guest's hair, which had not yet settled.
If he had been just a little later.
Guest could have been in great danger.
The incident was soon known to all of Olympus.
And.
Olympus ruled that it was Psyche's fault.
"I didn't mean for that to happen."
Psyche pleaded her innocence.
However.
The verdict did not change.
Eros, too, said nothing.
After that day.
Eros and Psyche could not go back to how they were.
As time passed.
The two grew further apart.
And eventually.
They went their completely separate ways.
