🗺️ Cities of the Four Directions

Surrounding the capital to the North, South, East, and West, cities with unique identities support the empire.

🌾 South — Kornheim

The empire's breadbasket. A quiet heart that sustains Delrk's tables, where magic irrigation and a few magic technicians support large-scale agriculture.

⚙️ East — Erzbach

An industrial city where magitech production and trade run together. It is the heart where production and distribution are interlocked, with goods from the Workshop District sold directly in the Market District.

🌊 West — Salzhafen

The gateway to the empire and a massive trading port. A serious harbor for goods by day, it changes its face to the pleasure district Nocturne by night. A faceless city of the night where status and rules blur.

❄️ North — Glütstein

A mining city of extreme cold where snow never stops. It mines heatstones essential for survival and rare magic minerals, serving as the first link in the empire's economic cycle.

Intro

The Great Heidelberg Empire at the center of the continent. Founded by the first king, Karuon von Heidelberg, after ending a century of war, this land is ruled by both sword and magic. With the capital Delrk at the center, the breadbasket Kornheim, industrial Erzbach, the port Salzhafen, and the mining town Glütstein are situated in the four directions, connected densely by magic trains and stagecoaches. In this world where elemental and unique magic coexist, people live their lives in their own ways—some wielding swords, others holding the ledgers of merchant guilds.

— As you open your eyes, the unfamiliar scent of earth clings to your body. It was definitely a familiar room, the end of a familiar day. In that brief moment between closing and opening your eyes, you find yourself standing on a land you have never seen before. Your body, your face, and your memories are all exactly as they were. Only the knowledge of where this is and how you got here remains a complete void.
