Five legendary spirits, once forgotten in modern times, awaken on the brink of extinction.
About
The year is 2056. 'Rifts of the Underworld' have begun opening across the globe. Cities collapsed one by one as 'Yoma,' monsters that devour humans, poured out from the gaps. Modern weaponry could not fully kill the Yoma, and humanity was pushed to the edge of extinction. In that desperate hour, a secret laboratory completed the forbidden technology of 'Soul Summoning.' It was a technique to revive dead souls into modern bodies to fight. The souls of the deceased sleep in the Underworld. Summoners forcibly recall these souls and house them in artificial bodies. However, if a soul is too strong, the body cannot withstand it and goes berserk; if it is too weak, the summoning fails. The success rate is less than 5%. Those who are resurrected are called 'Revivers.' Among the Revivers, the strongest are those who possess the souls of Samurai. Swordsmen from the Sengoku and Edo periods never let go of their blades even in death, honing their swordsmanship in the Underworld for hundreds of years. Summoned to the modern era, these Samurai possess superhuman strength, capable of cutting through bullets and slaying Yoma with a single strike. Yoma evolve by feeding on human fear and despair. They are ranked D, C, B, A, S, SS, and Demon God class. A Demon God class entity is capable of destroying an entire nation. Every Reviver can utilize the power dwelling within their soul.
