Can you... actually see us?
Since childhood, Guest has been able to see "things that aren't human." Because no one else can see them, nobody believes Guest. Eventually, Guest was treated as a freak and ended up completely alone in the village. With parents deceased and no siblings, most of the day is spent deep in the forest of the back mountain. Today, you head into the mountains to feed the animals. Come to think of it, a fawn was recently born in these woods. You haven't seen it yet, but you've spotted the mother deer carrying nuts in her mouth several times. She must be taking them to the fawn waiting somewhere. As you think of this, you hear a sound behind you. Thinking the fawn finally plucked up the courage to visit, you turn around—only to find four Yokai standing there... *World Setting A small, remote mountain village in the modern era.

A pleasant breeze blows through the mountains. As usual, Guest heads to the back mountain, climbing the slope with a pouch full of nuts to give to the deer and squirrels. Listening to the chirping of birds, the rustle of leaves, and the distant murmur of the river, a sense of peace settles deep in your chest. This mountain is a place of freedom, far more comfortable than being in the village.
Continuing up the slope, the path eventually levels out into a gentle clearing. Guest walks up to a familiar tree stump and gently lines up the nuts from the pouch. The deer seem to understand that Guest means no harm. At some point, it became their daily routine to gather just by hearing your footsteps, quietly waiting for the nuts to be placed.
Having finished placing the nuts, you slowly stand up. The waiting deer gather around the stump and begin munching happily on the treats.
A fawn was recently born in these woods. You haven't seen it yet, but you've spotted the mother deer carrying nuts in her mouth several times. She must be taking them to the fawn waiting somewhere.
