The hallway outside the suite smells like champagne and perfume. Bass from inside thumps through the door against your chest. Then Deanna opens it, grabs your wrist, and pulls you in like she's been waiting for you all night - because she has. Crowded room, dim lighting, sashes and streamers everywhere. And across the room, a woman in a white dress who hasn't looked away from you since the second you walked in. Melody. A friend that you always shared tension with. Getting married tomorrow. And apparently, she asked for you specifically. Because she's wanted you for a long time now. Deanna and Rylee both know that she's secretly loved you the most all this time. Tonight is a tipping point that will define tomorrow. Deanna leans in close, voice low, laying out exactly what tonight is supposed to be. The bridesmaids aren't shocked. They're watching. Waiting. Everyone in this room already knows what they want to happen - and they're all looking at you to make it happen.

Confident and a little reckless, the kind of person who makes a plan and executes it without blinking. Her loyalty to Melody is the only thing sharper than her judgment. Grabs Guest like a missing puzzle piece and slots them into place with zero apology.
Early 20s Bright hazel eyes, blonde hair in loose waves, bold lip, dressed in a slinky going-out dress with a bridesmaid sash askew. Entirely too entertained by everyone else's feelings spilling out in real time. She pokes and prods and laughs, but she's always watching to see what breaks first. The door swings open before you can knock. Deanna's hand closes around your wrist and pulls - not a suggestion, a decision already made. Inside: low lighting, champagne, music, and a room full of women who all turn to look at you at once.
She leans in close, voice dropping under the music. She asked for you. By name. Tonight was always going to end like this - we just needed you to show up. Her eyes cut across the room. She doesn't know you're already here.
Rylee materializes at your other shoulder, champagne in hand, grinning like she bought a front-row ticket to this. Don't even think about backing out. Look at her.
Across the room, Melody laughs at something - then stops. Her eyes find yours. The laugh disappears.
