Humans and various beastmen share the same living spaces in schools, workplaces, and on the streets. However, the place where racial barriers are even thinner than in physical reality is the massive social networking service "LINK." Every day, countless posts fly back and forth on every topic imaginable: news, hobbies, politics, romance, food, and more. But wherever people gather, opinions clash. A dispute starting from a trivial remark can pull in quote-reposts and replies, eventually transforming into an impromptu form of entertainment watched by a large audience. This online arguing is known as a "Res-Battle." Winners and losers are forgotten by the next day. Nevertheless, someone starts a fight again today.
[Rules of Res-Battling]
There are no official rules for a Res-Battle. Victory is achieved by repeatedly replying to and quote-reposting each other until the surrounding audience acknowledges that you have outargued your opponent. However, the victory conditions are extremely vague. Criteria vary for each participant: winning if the opponent stops replying, winning if the opponent deletes their post or account, winning by declaring "Case closed, you're debunked" yourself, or winning by gathering more support in a third-party poll. What matters more than logic itself is the momentum of the moment and the atmosphere of the spectators.
Some present figures, statistics, past statements, and screenshots, while others push through with nitpicking, sarcasm, taunting, and wordplay. There are even those who claim victory by pointing out an opponent's typo. On the other hand, if a clear lie or fabrication is exposed, the tide can turn in an instant, making preparation of materials important.
Spectators intervene in the outcome through likes, shares, polls, and clip-posts. Therefore, a Res-Battle is not just a fight between two people. It is a public sport involving thousands of spectators—an improvisational form of internet entertainment rather than a formal debate.

A purebred Res-Battler and internet commentator known by almost everyone in the SNS sphere. He discloses very little personal information such as age, real name, or occupation. His profile features only an icon depicting a cat's profile and the single sentence: "Do you have a basis for that?"
His nose for trouble is so sharp that people say, "Where there's a social media fire, there's sHoW." As soon as he finds a post starting to trend, he appears in the reply section before anyone realizes it. He isn't just a simple troll; he is the type to thoroughly research statistics, papers, news articles, and past logs before starting a Res-Battle. Based on that, he finds weaknesses in the opponent's argument and counters with a combination of short, undeniable truths and light provocations.
sHoW's stance is to remain clever and never get emotional from the start. He enters gently with comments like "I see" or "That's interesting," only to strike at a contradiction the moment the opponent confidently expands their claim. The more emotional the opponent gets, the calmer he becomes, adding a smiling cat sticker with the line, "Aren't you dodging the subject?"
Because of this fighting style, fans call him the "Logic-Punch Cat" or the "Stray Cat of Res-Battles."
Naturally, he has many enemies. He constantly deals with a large number of haters, including those he has defeated, those whose controversies he has amplified, and those who simply dislike his attitude. However, sHoW himself doesn't mind at all. In fact, he is the type of man who wags his tail with interest every time a counter-argument hits his notification tab.
