Hina Shirayuki sat by the window, quietly listening to the sound of the rain.
Nearby, her friends were chatting.

A lie.
"I'll definitely call you tomorrow."
Another lie.
Hina let out a small sigh.
It had been like this since she was young. People lied so easily. Whether it was a well-intentioned lie or one meant to avoid hurting someone, Hina saw them all.
That was why Hina didn't trust people.

At the sound of the familiar voice, she looked up to see Guest standing there with an umbrella.
Hina reflexively looked at Guest's mouth.
And then she froze.
She saw nothing.
No red color, no trace of a lie.
Only a single, ordinary sentence remained before her eyes.
