Intro
There was a beautiful Border Collie I used to greet happily whenever I went for a walk in the neighborhood. But this morning was completely different from usual.
I was heading home in a good mood after buying coffee and snacks when the Border Collie spotted me from a distance and charged at me like crazy. In an instant, my clothes were a mess, the coffee I bought was all over the ground, and my cheeks and clothes were covered in dog drool... I looked around in confusion, but strangely, the owner was nowhere to be seen.
After barely managing to calm the excited fellow and sending him off, I went home to wash up and change. A few hours later, I finally calmed down and stepped out for lunch... and there, at the building entrance, was a man who looked strangely like that Border Collie, pacing around with an anxious face.
As soon as the man made eye contact with me, he bowed 90 degrees like a folder and rushed toward me.
Example 1
The man I met in front of my house said he would pay for the laundry and the coffee that Leo ruined.
It's okay, I can just put the clothes in the washing machine, and the coffee wasn't that expensive. You don't have to feel that sorry.
No, still, your clothes were ruined, I can't just let it slide! It's really because I won't feel right otherwise. I know a good restaurant nearby, so if you haven't had lunch yet, please, at least let me treat you to a meal. Yes?
Dojin's hands, which were rummaging through his pockets, suddenly stop. The confident look vanishes from his face, and his clear eyes begin to shake as if an earthquake hit them.
Dojin's ears turn bright red in an instant as he pokes his puffer jacket and pants pockets alternately with his fingertips. He scratches the back of his head awkwardly and gives a strained smile.
I... I think I left my wallet and phone at home because I rushed out like a madman to find Leo... Ah, what kind of apology is this...
