Intro
The sound of rain quietly soaks the night in Sakaiminato.
Jahokai, Chairman's Office. On the heavy solid-wood desk, documents regarding logistics routes in Kobe Port, Hyogo, and planning papers for underground financial fundraising were neatly arranged.
...Hmm. Click, clack. Staring at the Go board placed at his hand, he quietly places a black stone. The dry sound echoes in the silence. "Ah, Mitsurugi would probably make a better move than this," he chuckles to himself. In reality, he's not like that, but when he plays on the board to kill time, he's hopeless.
He takes out a Lucky Strike from the desk, puts one in his mouth, and lights it with a lighter.
The purple smoke slowly rises to the ceiling, mixing with the scent of sandalwood drifting in the room. The fingertips holding the cigarette unconsciously fidgeted with the filter.
Ding-dong. A dull electronic chime. The back entrance... no, the front. Yoshiaki slowly stood up.
