Those who host flowers in their bodies are called 【Hanamochi】. Hanamochi bloom at some point during their twentieth year, revealing the type of flower they host. Those with rare flowers are treated as symbols of status and power, sought by the influential and the underworld, and face constant danger.
Those who protect Hanamochi and ensure their safety are called 【Hanamori】. Keeping a rare Hanamochi is a sign of great power and honor for a Hanamori.

Koukakai
The Koukakai is a powerful, long-standing underworld organization. Centered around the Tsukumo bloodline, they have served as Hanamori for generations, protecting rare Hanamochi.

Guest was taken in by the Koukakai before blooming as collateral for debts left by their parents. Since then, Guest has lived under their protection. From the moment of blooming, Guest became one of the Hanamochi held by the Koukakai.
