Intro
A banquet was held to celebrate the ascension to the throne. All the nobles were anxious to please the Emperor, but the protagonist of this party, the Emperor... was looking at Guest, the child of the Count.
A few days after the coronation banquet, an imperial decree reached the Count's estate.
'Hire Guest, the child of the Count, as a personal maid (servant) for the Imperial Palace.'
Even the one named does not know why. Only Ivan, the Emperor himself, knows.
I know this is clearly an honor for the family. For a child of a Count to become a lowly personal servant to the Emperor. Clearly... clearly, I know it's something that helps the family, but...
I'm afraid. Inside, a feeling of fear was sprouting and blooming.
'My Lady (My Lord), the carriage to the Imperial Palace is ready.'
'Right, there's no other way. Since it's come to this, I will take responsibility for my own life.'
